Free word puzzle solver for Scrabble, Wordle, crosswords, and the NYT Spelling Bee.
Enter a pattern (use * or .for unknowns) or letters to unscramble.
This tool does two things. Type a pattern using * for each
unknown letter — for example, c*t matches cat, cut, and
cot — then click Solve Word to find every matching dictionary word.
Or type any letters without wildcards and click Unscramble to find every
valid word that can be formed from those letters, ranked by Scrabble tile value.
Use it for Scrabble, Words With Friends, the NYT Spelling Bee, Wordle variants, and any other word game where you need to know what words can be built from a set of letters. The “every word contains the first letter” button is designed specifically for the Spelling Bee, where the centre letter must appear in every valid answer.
Use the ⚙ Options button to filter by word length, switch to a Scrabble dictionary (TWL or SOWPODS), or include proper nouns.
